| Florence Riggs and Kabbalah Bach have been performing healing/meditation music for over 20 years. Each has had individual careers in this field and together they have formed a musical partnership to promote Peace through their unique soundscapes as Gaia Mama. Florence is a performer and vocal technique teacher having coached many performers in stage, screen and television. She teaches an improvisational vocal toning class using the voice as an instrument to create a personal environment for meditation, peace, relaxation and stress release. Florence is a certified Toning Channel associated with the Tibetan Foundation, and certified in Crystal Energy balancing by the Crystal Awareness Institute, as well as having studied various methods of alternate healing techniques. She has also had extensive performance experience on both the East and West coasts singing various styles of music, including opera, musical theater, vocal recitals, symphonic orchestra, studio singing, jazz, pop and improvised vocal performance art. She is co-founder of five intimate music groups, which focus on innovative creative performance. The groups are Song Waves I and II, Voce Arcana, Musement, and currently Gaia Mama. Kabbalah is a passionate peace activist and for the past 20 years has been a sound healer and performer. She works with Tibetan Bells, Bowls, Gongs and Voice. Her intention in her work is to aid in the transformation of individuals and the human community towards inner clarity, inner peace and empowerment. She has organized and performed with various environmental organizations, chanted and played the flow of the L.A. River in performances, and worked with such notables as pioneer performance artist Barbara T. Smith, choreographer/director Marian Scott and actor/theater director Ellen Geer. Kabbalah has recorded several CD's, participated in numerous meditation and Goddess events, and been interviewed as a sound healer on CNN and in the New York Times.
